It’s almost like OWN is a boutique-network. Yes, it will grow, especially with Ms. Winfrey at the helm. But don’t you always want it to feel like an intimate moments, cozy viewership experience designed for you? Will its viewership ever reach the ranks of the Oprah show? Certain segments possibly. But there is a need — even a strong demand for boutique brands too. I like knowing that when I flip to that channel, whatever is on will be something that I want to watch .. and guess what, 98% of the time, it is. That’s so wonderful!
